Looking for good budget amp to really push 1 15" AB VFL or 1 15" HDS315? Looking to stay under $ 250.00 +/-.
No disrespect intended, but I thought Power Acoustik was a brand to stay away from?Power Acoustik BAMF 5500. Obviously the manufacturer's numbers are fictional, but they have been clamped doing well over 2k of (mostly) clean power. Plus, you can replace the front pannel with plexi and look at the pretty guts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

actually the bamf/5500 is not that bad of a amp. The only way to get the rated 3200rms is to wire to .5ohm and run it at 16v. i have seen them clamped this way and they did the 3200 but protected like in like 3 seconds lol. As for daily 1 ohm, its a good 2k rms amp, not the most efficient but not to bad. Ive seen 2513 clamped at 1ohm on in realistic conditions(12v setup). so they are not just junk tho most people will say it is because its "power acoustik". I wouldnt use any of their other amps thoNo disrespect intended, but I thought Power Acoustik was a brand to stay away from?
