Spend the extra $100, and get the AB VFL 4480 hybrid. It's nasty. I'm running one, and it's great. I definitely suggest getting one.

I was looking at the ppi, but im "trying" to not have to go with 0 gauge wire. Can i run it without changing from my 4 gauge?

Regardless of what amp you're running, if you're trying to run that much power you should probably upgrade to 0 gauge wire anyways

MyLows, I've seen you throw some nice deals. What you got for me, and how much? I saw one for almost $450.00!!! No way I can spend that. Also, this is going on 1 sub. Is this not too much wattage on those choices?

Sorry bout the mix up. XFL, if not the SQ HDS315. Also, I have a box builder waiting on me to make up my mind. But I'd like to know what you would do for one of these subs, size and price? (@MyLows)

I've done the xfl 12&15 on the 4480 a few times. It was really loud in the boxes I built for the set ups

actually the bamf/5500 is not that bad of a amp. The only way to get the rated 3200rms is to wire to .5ohm and run it at 16v. i have seen them clamped this way and they did the 3200 but protected like in like 3 seconds lol. As for daily 1 ohm, its a good 2k rms amp, not the most efficient but not to bad. Ive seen 2513 clamped at 1ohm on in realistic conditions(12v setup). so they are not just junk tho most people will say it is because its "power acoustik". I wouldnt use any of their other amps tho
