good box for pair of street edge 10 inch subs

recommended box for each sub is 1 cube ported. i was thinking 2 cubes with a single 4 inch port. recommended hz is 37. this will b in a trunk of a honda accord firing inot the caben rear seat folded down. sealed off from the trunk. i like rap music and the wife likes country. so does this sound like a good size and hz? subs will be powered by a older american bass 100.1

I'd go with 2.5ft^3 at 32hz...37hz is just too peaky.

i had a buddy last nite who does car audio on the side plus used to work at a local shop. said since im gonna fire them inot the car rear seat down i should do 4 cubes with 2 4 inch ports tuned to 35 to 38 hz

Absolutely no need to go with that big of a box and that high of a tuning. The peak in the 40-50hz range will be big and you'll have no balls below 35hz. If you're wanting to actually enjoy music instead of just showing off certain songs that work well with your box, then go with something in the 2.25-2.5ft^3 range tuned in the low 30's.

so 2.5 cubes will work facing into the car? about what size slot port u think will work? and what would be a good hz for rap and country? could u give me dimensions on a slot port i got the box measurements i can use. thanks for all the help. i just wanted some good sound and bass.

For box dimensions, u can just use the RE box calculater...but make sure u have at least 15sq in of port per cube
