Good amp for 5-6k with low current draw?

but now that i put speakers, a deck, possibly another amp.. i may be up to the 11 mark again, which is fine because i have all other conveinences, ac, heat, now i have a nice loud stereo, life is good "rollin in my 5.0" and whoever knows what song that is from gets an online cookie

Well the general rule of thumb is for every hundred pounds of additional weight you lose 1/10th of a second in the 1/4 mile, so let's say the system weighed 500 pounds all in all, that's a half a second off the quarter times. That is a huge loss, and once you get up to around the 500rwhp mark it gets harder and harder make more power.
yes, but i see no difference in it unless you're in some kinda of organization and you're competing against people.

i mean if i go to the track and run a 10.98 like that guy, then install all my stereo shit and now run consistent 11.2's, to me its like, "so what".

i mean, even if you did do some sort of organizational stuff where you are basically competeing, i dont see how you couldnt just take the stuff out before you head to the strip //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

even if i was a bmw guy, id have a hard time even beleiving that you would have to pick between a 03 cobra and m3.. 03 cobra in every forum possible will absolutely stomp out an m3.. an 03 cobra with just pullies, exhaust, intake, will plow through the 500rwhp mark.. When my 5.0 was stock with just the basic bolt ons (3.73's, long tubes, no cats, cold air intake, aluminum driveshaft) i took an m3 by 4 cars the whole way, now an m3 would be 30 cars back lol

Ok after last night i was considering just investing in the car or the sound system. I compromised half ways. Instead of buying those 2 9512 for 1000 and another amp for 600 and more batteries and another alternator. I just figured ill stick with one 12 probably a btl never tried them and their space requirements is only 1.75 so that wont make that much weight. Ill keep my us amps 2000X or ill sell it and get something in a class D and just upgrade my alternator and invest the rest of the money in the car. I want to add a couple more things to it.
