Wierd Amp Sound

My amp is making a humming or buzzing spound when i start my car. It makes this sound for about 15 seconds and then it goes off. maybe it's charging? idk... any ideas?

dose it POP when you turn the headunit on and off??

if so your rem. turn on wire is not supplying enough amps

no it doesn't do that, it only does it when i start it up. i tracked the sound to the amp itself (inside it) i checked all the wires, grounds, etc... can't figure it out. It has a "soft turn on feature" could it have something to do with that?

h trying using 8 gauge or smaller i wouldn't do not bigger than 8, 8 is sorta over kill in a way unless your doing some serious stuff
