Good 6x9's

Hey guys just wanted an opinion what are some good 6x9 speakers that have some bass im looking into this alpines there 280 watts what u think? i need some info thx

Pritty much everyone here will say skip the rear fill and go with components up front.....

My buddy had Alpine Type R 6.5s and they were horrible unless u put a amp to them, then they really open up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

What car and what is the speaker setup??

i think the infinity perfect 6x9's would sound great... but i would switch out the fronts /door speakers first

you should listen to the polk mmc690 at frys or something, they sounded great but pretty expensive

Unless I am gravely mistaken there is no such thing as a Infinity Perfect 6x9.

Infinity makes great speakers though, the Reference and Kappa lines both have 6x9's, I would also look into Diamond Audio D3 6x9's, or Alpine Type-R 6x9's.

I agree, but I was responding to his request for a true 6x9 coax. IMO round is better then oval, and I'd rather have a nice 6 1/2 coax in a plate then a 6x9. (you don't see any 6x9's in the upper lines of most companies do you?)

does alpine 6x9s have better highs or lows? the ones I heard both type r/s have highs at like best buy, or maybe their amp sucks and doesnt bring out the lows?

everyone thx for the information. I found alpine type r 6x9's brand new from my neighbors friend that owns a shop he's only charging me $50 for both. Well thx to everyone.
