Any thoughts on the Hifonics ZX 8000?

5 channel. Same as any Hifonics, rated @ 14.4V, some people hate them, some people like them. Personally, I think they are good bang for the buck. Next time get your own thread.

What is the frequency response of the 5 & 6th channels Req? Full-range?

if you mean the frequency range, all 6 channels can be set to flat 20-20k, but 5 and 6 run off their own seperate power supply - i think Epinions had their specs wrong TBH..

rms @ 4 ohms = (1~4) 50x4 (5~6)75x2

rms @ 2 ohms = (1~4) 75x4 (5~6)125x2

Haven't used them personally, but ADS makes great amps. And there is nothing wrong with a refurb.....good as new, tested before it leaves the factory to prove that it works 100%.
