Good 6.5 inch subs.

I've never had an issue with eD's customer service. 19O came to me with a loose surround, I received a new one within a week with a return slip for the defective one. Only issue I have had with products purchased directly from them in the three years I have known of them.

I did two eu-700's in 1 cube tuned to about 32 and it was pretty sweet. Also built a quad 7kv.2 HT subwoofer for my father which is very surprising.

The TB's are awesome units as well, but I find them a bit noisy. Of course, in a car's trunk you probably won't hear it.

Here's my ported 1138's (the 5.25" brethren of the 1139)

On what criteria? It is a very niche product and is misunderstood by many. Though it has a massive motor structure, it is not an SPL beast persay. it does get plenty loud, but not where and how you would expect. Sealed it is very powerful on the extreme low end. It shows it's real SQ characteristics in this alignment, though I do prefer it in a ported enclosure where it can get a bit higher in the sub frequency range, say more like 75ish, 80 smoothly. I had one ported and it was an incredible woofer. Not a lot of power is needed due to its (if I remember correctly) single spider which gives it great efficiency.

Loved mine ported but the weight of it was more than I, errr, my Mustang wanted to bare. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I ended up selling mine and the enclosure I built to a buddy and it is still going strong about 2 years later....

The 13Av.2 is just awesome at attacking the low lows. A lot of woofers are, but the SQ at which this does it is really neat to hear.

I'm sure you could find some one in Cali to give you a listen (if I'm thinking the right Sacramento!).

If I do decide to go with the eD 13av.2 I'd get that package deal. Not sure really whether I want to go with 2 6.5s or get a 12 or 15 yet.
That's quite a difference in setups. Why those two options? (I know you posted 3 but in general it's two.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

I see......they'll fill the low end well...not destroy man kind but def do a nice job. i always love a nice 6.5" subwoofer build. Think they are real cool surprising people that look.....
