Well 5 bucks a foot for 4/0 is cheaper than buying two runs of good 1/0.

Just do two runs of KLMX. Good for 500 amps. Cheapest way to do it.

i'll see how many feet i have tomorrow...i may have a couple of lugs...mines the pure copper wire not that aluminum coated copper **** sold at most welding supply stores

i found it kinda a ***** to work with, it wasn't as flexible as i hoped it would be, but i guess i should have expected it.

I got mine from a welding shop as well.
