Are there any 2 ohm subs that will be louder and sound better than a 12" power hx2? I currently have my power hx2 in a ported 2.5cu ft box tuned to about 40hz so i'm also looking for something that sounds good in that box at the same time. the power hx2 is has pretty good SPL, but i'd like to have that same spl or better with a bit more sq. i read somewhere on here that xxx could custom build a dual 4 ohm sub. is that true? i'm pretty much set on the xxx, but unfortunately they wont be in stock for like 30 days according to sales@respl so if there's something else out there and would sound equivalent i'd be interested.
additionally, the reason i want to run my amp (jbl 1200.1) is so that it will take less power from my alt. it seems like my lights dim a lot harder now at 1 ohm.
