A series, cause it looks awsome.. hhaa, although thats not a real good way to base a decision, all those subs are in the same group.. so its a close competition..

why don´t you get the package ED is ofering, an 15" A and that avionixx for $570, (the A is almost free with that deal) if you don´t want the 15" you can work something out with them

the 12a does come in one of those packages for like $10 less.

I think for an extra $10 though the 15 would be worth it.

I did the same thinking as you are doing, and came to the conclusion that with the package deal from eD, a 15A and 800.2 Avionixx amp for $570 it was clearly the way to go. It would cost more for the 13w7 I wanted by itself, and that was my second choice. Don't like the tinsel lead slap problem or the backorder issues with the Brahma's, so that wasn't even a consideration in the last month or so.

My other choices were the IDMAX12, which was practically taken off the market to fix a problem it had (can't remember what it was). I actually ordered it, it used to be my 1st choice, but it took so long I cancelled it. I loved a review of it I read that admired how natural it sounded all the way up to 125Hz. And the RE XXX, which I decided against because of the price compared to the eD.

Whats this Tinsel lead slap problem you are talking about?

There was just a problem with tinsel lead slap on the Brahma's. It has supposedly been fixed, but I've heard stories about people who have gotten Brahma's since then (even replacements) that have had the same problem. I'm not telling anyone to take the same thing into consideration, I'm just anal like that. Like I said, the problem is supposed to be fixed now. Since I never owned a Brahma (ordered one of those too but cancelled) I don't know WHY the problem occured, just that it did.
