Good 10's With Low Mounting Depth?

Whats the comparison like between the kole and the audiobahns?
I would say about equal.

The kole has the power handling, mounting depth and looks that you want, go for it if you dont want to build another enclosure.

Stones how would the 2 subs you mentioned compare with a 10" JL W3v2?

I'm looking for sql and the W3's will fit. If I could get another .35 inches I could fit a sound splinter Rli-10 but I don't think I can squeeze it.

I could however mount RLi-8" if it is forward firing when sounsplinter eventualy makes more of them (They do not have any right now)

My Friend has an Audiobauhn 10 that is 4 inch mounting dpeth weights a Ton and handles 1500watts rms @ 1 ohm. Now I'm not an ausiobaughn fan, but would this kill other the other options listed above? + It would only need 1/2 the space

In your opinion what is my best bet

Thanks in advance.

My personal choices would be the Pioneer or the JL, they make lots of bass with very little power in sealed enclosures and have excellent sound, nice high sensitivity drivers that will play a pin drop, output is acceptable (just loud enuff to be satisfying).

I would not recommed the 10" RL-i for small sealed enclosures, good SQ but output and sensitivity is comprimised and it will leave you wanting more. as for the 8" I have no idea what it will do.

The shallow Kole and Audiobahn woofers are high power low sensitivity drivers that will get nice and loud in the sealed box but will lack some lower volume sensitivity (the fine detail stuff when the volume way down) but they will sound good overall and pound hard at high volumes, these are good if you want to crank some rap up and be heard coming down the block.

as always there is no best woofer, just the one that fits your needs, the Kole and Audiobahn are woofers you can really crank up and show off to your friends at the expense of the subtle tones at lower volumes, the JL and Pioneers will give you nice clean fat bass at all volumes for your own personnal pleasure.

Pick accordingly.

A different amp with more power can give a nice boost in performance to your existing subs, not a bad option by any means. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
