So the RL-P is engineered to be an SPL and SQ sub?Mike at soundsplinter says the RL-P in enginneered to be more of an SQ woofer then an SPL woofer. The MTX on the otherhand is engineered for more SPL and all out abuse. They both are great sounding woofers though and will both exceed most peoples tolerance for high volume.
Edit- Im wrong, mike was referring to the RL-i series.
Just get whatever has the best price.
*yes*So the RL-P is engineered to be an SPL and SQ sub?
900 watts rms would be underpowering it? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gifi love my 9500 and i think it has great sound quality but i havent heard the sound splinter and i dont think these other people have either so i cant tell you which one to get i can just tell you my opinion. you will be under powering the 9500 though since there is no dual 2 model.
