I raised the server load limit, so you shouldn't get the server busy message as much, until we can figure something out. Not to say you won't though... Just bear with us please.

someone comes and reads what they need to know.. runs into a dozen screens saying "Server is too busy"... never registers and leaves, to never return... it creates lets say... 20 Ad Banner hits.

someone comes, sees their topic they NEED, registers, checks up on something they were wondering about, doesn't experience SERVER ERRORs, and sees a large amount of REGISTERED users logged in and browsing.. its generates at LEASt the 20 hits plus a return user.

Its not my server, im a noob, whatever. I run 1 banner on my site and we have around 1800 registered members. I still generate enough to cover my ISP bills per month and the server was an Ebay 100 bucks plus shipping crap-turd-ball running Fedora 5.0 with PHP, Mysql, GD1 and 2, and less than 1 gig of ram.

Increase bandwith from current host (if possible).

Change host, bandwith is capable of keeping up with site's demands.

All the problems are coming from the host of the site. In simpler terms, this site is running from a server/host. That server/host is either slow, or its internet connection is slow and/or maxed. The only way to fix this issue is to address any or all of these problems.

All the problems are coming from the host of the site. In simpler terms, this site is running from a server/host. That server/host is either slow, or its internet connection is slow and/or maxed. The only way to fix this issue is to address any or all of these problems.

The bandwidth is fine, its the server cpu usage that is causing th issue. It spikes, then gives the server busy message, locks people out and calms down. If this didn't happen the load would continue to rise and could cause the server to crash, which would take much longer to get back going again. I hope to have this resolved asap. Whatever it takes I will get it done.

or if you really think making the lounge for registered users only will hurt the forum, make guests have to type in an alphanumeric confirmation code so that that will weed out all of the spambots..
