Golfers needed.. Question on buying new clubs...

I was at the qualifier for The British Open last week at Gleneagle Country Club. Matt Kuchar shot a 63 and 66 the same day. Only 8 spot was open and there was some top golfers there like Davis Love III. It was really nice to walk the course with Matt and get really close to the golfers because it was just qualifying rounds.

Golfwrx.com is a very good forum and also 4gea.com.

can any of you guys tell me the difference in these putters.. same club, just different head shapes.. I think im gonna get one, I found them for $99 and i really want a blade, just not sure what all the different head shapes do..

Same putter but different hosel. Some hosels are more offset, long, or shorter than others. I really liked those putter. Mizuno made by Bettanardi are high quality but not as high as the original Bettanardi.

really cant beat the price on it , but im still debating if i "really " like my odyssey 2 ball

i wish i had some **** putters to demo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Odyssey and the Mizuno are two different type of putters because of the insert. Odyssey has a softer feel because of the insert and Mizuno is harder compare to the Odyssey. I would suggest you go to a golf store and demo them.

Check out Edwin Watts or Golf Galaxy in your area.

nice best way to go! i have been taking lessons for 4 years now! except now my lessons are free //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif i go out and play with the golf pro Micheal Marcum, at empire lakes golf course by my house. Lessons are the best thing ever! also the first thing he will notice will probably be your stance and posture. this is the first thing to work on. Also dont bother getting a driver. that is the last club you will work on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif.

Also you stated you had a terrible slice which is one thing, your club face is "open" on contact with the ball. This occurs in many ways. one your hands are before your hips in your swing, BIGGEST ROOKIE MISTAKE THINKING POWER COMES FROM YOUR HANDS! IT DOESNT. ALL YOU HIPS. second your back swing is not the same as your swing towards the ball. in other words your almost choping at the ball.

So man get ready just relax be patient and listen to what you instructor says. also may u state his name and provide a link to the course he teaches at?

That's what a good instructor will notice first is the stance and posture. I seen instructor not telling the student that they are hitting a like baseball bat. Students are moving their whole body and swinging with their arms. I seen it on the range many times and I just wanted to tell them the fundamentals first. I wish I could get paid for teaching the fundamentals of a golf swing and stance.

I try playing in the yard just hitting around. It takes a while for a person to really understand that they can hit the ball pretty far without putting a ton of power into it and you don't have to swing it like a bat.
