Going to get a cell phone tomorrow, help

What ever you get, don't get a motorola. The lag time on the menu and interface will drive you nuts after a while. LG makes the best Verizon phones IMO. Hate motorola and my wifes Samsung phone quite working right after just over a year (less then a month after the warranty expired).

I wanted to get a blackberry, but i think they are a little to ugly... though if i were to get a PDA phone, that Treo 750 looks mighty fine.

the envy is a good phone. I like the new chocolate too. I have one.

I hear that touch sensitive scroll thing, while it is amazing, sucks dick when your calling people cause your face rubs up against it. Or if you lock it you have to unlock it just to turn up the volume

yup, try doing anything where you have to key in a number or anything like that and it is god awful (think about your voice mail).

and the touch parts are neat for the first few days, until you start accidently touching them or you move your finger across the phone to go to one button and the phone thinks you are touching another button. and it sucks *** for text messaging. i should have kept my 9900 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

An actual suggestion, holy shit...
I was suppose to get a x9800 when they first came out... way back in the day for free but that didn't work out (someone who worked on the inside and got free prototypes) Ill look in to the enV more

I actually got the 9800 when it first came out. But Verizon bills ate me up...so I switched to back to Cingular and now I have the iPhone and I love it.

I never really noticed any lag time on Motorola phones for Cingular..Although I can see how they would be laggy on Verizon since it packs so many little features into it.

Get something with windows mobile that is touchscreen you can customize the interface to look like anything you want i.e. windows vista or an iphone but then again im kinda geeky and enjoy stuff like that lol.
