im about to take the E5 exam for the second time in march. ive been in just about 3 years now. ill be gone for about 5~6 months, then ill be back for 5~6 months, then i go on deployment to the west coast theatre for another 5~6 months.
and in between the two ill be back on the ship for a month or two re-qualifying for everything.

anyway. im out the door.

E5 in 3 years? It takes us 3 years time in grade just before you go up to E4...

yep. would have been 2.5 years, but the rest of the guys that took the test had award points, time in rate points, and evaluation points - all of which i dont have because this was my first test and i have not been in long enough to receive any awards. most people who advance in my rate take the test 3~4 times... but i did score in the 89th percentile of the entire amount of E4's who took the E5 exam in my rate - but it was the first time i took it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

so i have a very good idea what the test is like and i should make E5 this time around. **** i have to leave tonight.

A friend of mine is in the army and he is most likely getting deployed again to Afganistan. Not a good feeling at all when he told me.

just wanted to say have a good time while im out defending our freedom. i dont know if you guys believe in the military or care about everything thats going on overseas. but i have to go. regardless of your political views or mine, it is going to be a harrowing journey.

sup everybody. im reporting in from somewhere just outside the med. we should be entering the med in a few days time, and stopping at marsille france for a few days. then headded to the ditch (canal) and pass by egypt in a few days.

basically we are going to be dropping bombs on terrorizers (ala gw bush) and im gonna try and get CA.com on a big fat 2000lb bomb. we will see whats happenin.
