going from two 15" DB DRIVE SLW to....

my friend has two of these subs now and he wants to get something much cleaner. he can get $500 for the two 15s he has w/the box. basically his interest has gone from SPL to SQ.

Someone is selling a JL w7 13.5" for $300 (USED) and he may do it, but the reason I am posting is because there has got to be an equivalent or better sub for the money even at that used price for just one sub. any reccommendations? I just dont like the w7 that much because of hype..never really get caught into most hype on different products. re xxx?

yea basically.... thanks for the input. so the subs listed should outperform the w7 and still be just as clear? where can you get them from online?
