If you do the 8" Drivers, can you seal them off from the trunk?
The 8's in question are supposedly strong little bastards(I have no experience with them) but that SS XXX is definitely a well regarded driver. Probably is, as Mobeious stated, you're losing tons of ability to move air and less cone area with just three. XXX also probably has more motor strength, if I had to guess.
With three, unless you build a great enclosure, I dont see it being any louder.
With 6, if you can seal it off and put adequate power to it, I see it being comparable.
