YOU NEED TO BE ON THE SHORT BUS!!! It's just like having a single DVC sub, which with a DVC sub with 4 ohm voice coils, it will only be able to be wired into a 2ohm load or an 8ohm load, on a mono amp.

1. it's a svc 4 ohm sub

2. a dvc 4 ohm subs can be wired 2 ohms or 8 ohms ON ANY AMP

it can only be wired to 4 ohms, nothing more, nothing less
you never had it wired to 2 ohms either
