like mentioned above it will be noticeable.Well i cant really relate to what a gain in 3db would sound like. Idk if thats good or not. Beginner at this stuff.
Well what do you think about the SA-12s?yes it will be louder when you dbl lower power it makes a difference but when you go from 2000 -4000 and 4000-8000 it gets less and less noticeable.then you have to look at the limit's of the sub. some subs just wont get louder after so much power. like the re sx was tested to be it's loudest @ 1800 watts and anything over that was wasted.
well going from lower power to higher power it can be done.we were testing one day doing a 150 at vol 20 then went to vol 23 and hit a 156 then to vol 25 and did a 159.9.Was gonna give the ubiquitous 3dB answer but I like yours better, lol.
sa's should take the power easy.because you wont be getting a true 2000 watts all the timeWell what do you think about the SA-12s?
they will love that 2k as long as its clean.Well what do you think about the SA-12s?
3dB is about the minimum threshold that the ear can perceive as a change. You'll notice something is louder, but it won't be significant.Well i cant really relate to what a gain in 3db would sound like. Idk if thats good or not. Beginner at this stuff.
more power will make the low end hit harder but with 2 sa12's doubt your gonna get a hair trick. You need some real low end monster subs to do that with 2 12'sSo im not making a bad decision in doing this is what im asking? Lets just put it this way. Say someone was close to doing a hair trick like they got some hairs moving, would that 3db make most of the hairs move? Im sorry for being reluctant, i just wanna get the idea of what 3dbs is like
with tuning around there you may be able to get a slight hair trick is it a trunk car because sealing it off will help you big timeWell i dont have a db reader, but i do know that anything below 30hz usually hits the hardest. The box is tuned to 28 or 29 if i remember correctly .
