going active without X-over or active HU

A few questions before i buy my brothers JL 300/4.

if i run it at 8 ohms will i still get the rated 75 x 4?

i wanna go 2 way active with it. (high pass on deck , low pass X10 on mids , high pass X10 on tweets) but the majority of tweets on PE that fit in my tweeter pods are 8 ohms and i want to make sure they will get full power.
