Going active with my new US Amps AX 5600 5ch...little help?

The endcaps are kinda crappy IMO. Rough edged plastic...doesn't fit very well. I'm probably going to sand them down and paint them, either silver again, or maybe black. Also possibly considering 1 10" RE SE instead of the OZ ME 10, for cost reasons and to keep it in the US family...
