Glass two 10's into a rear door?

Ok i just had an idea for my truck. I was thinking about glassing in two alpine type E 10's in my rear doors of my truck. They would be on the bottom of the rear ******* doors. One sub per door. It is a 1998 Dodge ram 1500 ext cab with no rear seat.

Any input?

Just get 2 12" type X's for your sub stage and put an MRP-M1000

on each of them.

Besides looking stupid i dont see a problem as long as you have a enclosure for the sub

if you are putting subs in the doors, i'd recommend a 6.5 inch tang band sub. if you go above that size, i'd just design a stand alone box for an 8 or 10, not in the door.

it's not stupid. a box for a 10 is a little big for the door, but it's a solid idea.

I'd go with 8's, just as it'll require less space. 10's would work, but it'd be a lot more work than 8's, imo.
