Might want to get more power for a pair of HCs......or just use one. Good choice, I had a single HC 12" getting about 1200, it got lowwwww and sounded great.

Oh yeah, thats what I was planning, my bad... I meant one HC.

Can it keep up with some System of a Down, Disturbed, ect...?

I vote LI 10's.... These little bugers wang, and they were in a sealed box. They kept up with anything we threw at them, also we were using a JBL 1200.1 @ 1 ohm...

Yeah right under my JBL Symbol. I measured it out and I can fit an 80 mm fan in there, but its too think to bring in air from the outside

Dont want to go with 10's. I had some S10L7's and it didnt give me enough boom. Wanting to go with either 12's or 15's

Just have your fan(s) blowing across the outside of the amp's heatsink. No need to open it up and try to stuff a fan INSIDE it.

Well before I bought the amp used, it was taken to a car audio shop and had the orange plastic cleared out and blue LED's to light it up instead of orange. Since its cleared out, There is room for air to come inside the amp. Just seems perfect. I think it would work 5 times better.

yea...they are made to go 1 ohm stabel the only reason it would have shut off at 4 ohm is because you have too low voltage going to it or your gains were cranked way too high... that or your amp is in an area of 140+ degrees
