enough power for this?

I have a PA LT980/2, puts out 550wrms x1 @4ohms. I like this amp but I don't like my subs. I was wondering if I could push a single 12" L7 with this amp, or could I maybe even push a 15" L7 with it? Would have better luck with more to the rated power on the 12" or underpowering the 15"? Would it still be louder than my current cheap a$$ Best Buy 12" Pioneers if I put either of the L7's in a sealed box? I know install is a big part, but if the installs are the same almost. Advice?

I am puting 400 wats to a single 12" L7 in 3.5cuft and it is more then ok
