give me opinions on Excelon kdc-x692

Awesome deck! Excelon decks are very reliable.

I had the x-492, which there isn't much difference besides rear AUX/USB iPod hook up to the 492 being in the front.

I ended up selling it and once this tax season rolls around, may end up going back to it, or step it up to the x792. Depends if I want to spend 30 more bucks I guess.

I have the X-792 in 3 of my cars and love them, best deck for the money IMO. Dont know the diff in 692 and 792, but if they are similiar, go for it.

I am runing the 692 in my van. Love it. Play mostly off the thumb drive, but has a nice cd mech in it too. No skipping problems even at 158+ dB playing music.

Giving subs more power really wakes them up. The MRP-500 is pretty low power. You would really notice more authority in your bass.

I’m sure they will be a good budget setup. I think they will lack some midbass but door treatment is super important so definitely be sure to do...
