I have an RL-P, gonna get a 2.0 cuft ported box, but im a little unsure of what to tune it too. Im looking for maximum SQL, with more emphasis on SPL, while still a little emphasis on Sound Quality. I also like low bass. So how do i figure out what tune would be good for me?

depends on what you listen to mostly, if you mainly listen to rap, I'd say 35-40 hz tuning, if you want SQ mostly, tune it low to like 28 hz or so, from what I've seen here, low tuning around that range is good for SQ, my recomendation for SQL would be 30-35 hz

I listen to like 60% rap, 30% rock, 10% techno. I want some crazy SPL out of my sub, but i HATE boomy sounding subs, i want it to hit very hard but not be overly boomy if im listening to rock or techno.

Also, someone local is probably gonna build it for me. Is building a box corectly to tune extremely hard and precise, or is it not that tough?

I would take Tirefryer up on his offer. Hes done it a million times and knows exactly what to do. He honestly offered you a hell of a deal.

34-36hz and you will be happy.

Box building is like anything else. Its not hard if you have done it a few times.
