Girl has more sense than most of you...

So basically, you're telling her generalizations that she'll have to forget if she ever decides to learn more about electronics?

Congrats? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeah so, not all of you by any means(because plenty of you are a bit more enlightened than myself, but), the chick I installed the 10" CVX and a Hifonics 2channel(400 rms, so around 350 ish??) was talking to me today and she made a comment.
"What's a capacitor-thingy do?"

I explained it to her

Her response was "Well that's stupid, if I want to put a larger amp in I'm just going to start by upgrading to a better, larger battery. Seems like that would be better, right?"

I laughed for a few minutes thinking about the local kids here and the n00bs that jump on CA asking questions about their capacitors.

No pics FTL.

And

Yeahhh. End of my stupid story.

Edit - Now that she has a sub in her little TC, she wants more powa, more sound, bigger sub(s)

As soon as I get the go-ahead and some moolah, I'm gonna be throwing a single 15 ported in there I do believe.
wow, what a story. sounds like you found the perfect woman! too bad youre into men. what a ***!!! flamer.

Caps have a place in some systems... why does everyone see them as useless pieces of equipment? They are useful when implemented in the correct environment, but obviously not to make up for a battery (or lack of).
