Ok, my dad has a work truck that his company is willing to sale me, for 3,000. Its a 2000 toyota tacoma reg-cab 2wd pickup. I currently, are driving the same truck, but mines white. I have a 10" kickercomp and 300watts in my truck Currentlly. And im wanting to put a tad more bass in it. I allready have trouble finding a box to fit behind the seat, because of my height. Im wanting to make the truck im getting from my dad's work. A little more along the lines of a "show truck" like bag it, rims, window tent, paint... etc.
But right now, i have some extra cash laying around for an audio system part of the truck. And im wondering what I should do.
I want it to be Loud, but I dont want any mirror's/visors falling off... or my truck rattleing apart on me. :]
I was thinking of two 10 inch Pionner pancake's, the shallow version. But im trying to figure out, what watt power i will need, and if my Alternator is big enough for the battery to still power the truck. I no im probley goin to need a new alt. And another battery or so.
If ya'll have any Suggestions, PLEASE fill free to tell me. Im gunna be hit and miss on the computer today. I have some stuff i need todo around the house, if you want, send me a pm with any ideas yall have.
Remember, im looking to see what i should put in my truck, and what mods im gunna have to do, and how much more battery will i need to make the truck still start, and play my system. cause the max on those pancakes are 1000rms.
But please, help me out. im new to the site, as well as Car audio and it really interest me. So please help me out.
