Is it ghetto that I fixed an old pyramid hyper pro sub with 2 paper plates and epoxy? I want to post pics soon.

I ripped of the dust cap and replaced the tinsel leads with speaker wire then glued twol paper plates together as the dust cap. It doesn't look bad. lol

ghetto is making a plywood box with wood u got a construction site and porting it with a plastic pipe painting it black , cutting the whole with a regular saw ( dont know how it worked but it did) and mounting a power accoutic 10" fubr backwards then giving 1.5k at 1 ohm until it smells like burning rubber //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

buying a road gear twelve that needed a box and using a 5 gallon shopvac for a box and took the hose off to port it.

o and using storage totes that u put chrismas stuff in and shit for boxes.

Actually, real ghetto would be tearing an 18" speaker out of some old band equiment, cutting a hole in the top of the dresser the neighbor threw out, seal it up with Elmers' glue, put it in the trunk of your 86' Caprice and run the speaker off of an old reciever powered by an AC converter, and drive around listening to NWA's F*** the Police until some old lady calls the cops on you. That my friends, is ghetto fabulous. :thumbsup

Lol, my buddy had a garbage can, made out of plastic, that fit a 10" sub perfectly, so we super glued along the basket rin, and drilled some wood along the edges where the screw holes were on the basket, and screwed the sub into it, it was pretty cool, but it blew the super glue seal first hit, and sounded like shit in the process, buit that's what you get when you are bored, and have a ten sitting around...
