about the cheapest solution you will find (besides the duct tape idea) is gonna be peal n seal, or other roofing supplies you will find at a hardware store. Dont work as well as some higher end stuff, but it is a cheap solution

just stuff a bunch of paper where ever you want to stop the rattle, and if you need more go get a free phone book

Try a bunch of bondo....kind of like sludge and then duct tape

metal duct tape and paper i was thinking of a blanket over my box that presses up on the roof of the trunk any ideas?

Then the car isn't worth the system... which would then mean you wouldn't need deadener

put a blanket in between your trunks bracing on the roof of the trunk, then that will keep it from hitting metal to metal.

go buy Rubberized Undercoating.

then use Great Stuf expanding foam to seal up the inside of all those veins on the underside of the trunk.
