As for hardest song, Jordan forever reigns supreme.

Kid at our school plays that song all night. He's gotten an FC twice so far.

There are some really hard songs in the bonus list. I am still palying on medium, cant beat the battle with Lou yet.

x2 he was hard but I found out you can't really beat him until the end of the song and I would restart it halfway through too much.

Rock Band by far. There is more to do, it is more entertaining, and the drums in Rock Band are actually very similar to playing drums in real life. Oh, and career mode is more fun.

edit: The developers of Rock Band have an agreement with MTV...this means that they easily obtain tons of songs. It has been announced that at some point, they want to make entire albums downloadable for several artists. There is just way more content on Rock Band. I wish they had it for the Wii....

383,xxx from what i remember at 89 or 90 % and yes jordan is THE hardest song jordans very short and sweet TTFAF is Long and you need to train for lol j.k but my forearms feel like shit when i`m done on either song TTFAF is alot of hammer ons and hammer offs so thats why it`s easy for me but jordan eh thats just hard

lou is very hard to beat but i`ve beaten the game and it took probably 25+ tries to beat him you just have to wait till the end and get all the power ups

Rock Band at this point. The 360 version of GH3 has retarded achievements, and the songs just get ****ing insane/unfun after awhile. Plus I am having far more fun with the drums.

the best way to beat him to have a whammy power up and then towards the middle..when he has the long streak of greens, use the whammy attack and he fails instantly.

I prefer GH2 to GH3, and Rockband is a nice change of pace. I vote Rockband, more variety, and drums are awesome.

I much prefer GH3 to 2... hammer ons are a b!tch in 2! GH3 is has easier gameplay and is more forgiving, but the songs are much harder for the most part.

it looks like its about 2 to 1 for GH over RB... but RB still sounds like it has more to offer over GH. and 5 people want to play with my balls instead of playing either of the games.

i personally think guitar hero is way more fun. it takes more skill. i've beaten both games on expert. i didn't fail a single song going through rockband on expert. not even the last song which is always supposed to be the hardest. i bet i could go put guitar hero in right now, and probably not pass a couple songs on expert first try. i.e. metallic, slayer, slipknot.

if you're looking for a challenge, guitar hero is much more difficult. but if you're just a casual gamer and looking for a game that doesn't require too much skill, rockband is definately your best bet. price also needs to be considered as well though.

You dont have to have friends to play rockband, just hop online. When I don't have people on my friends list online, I can always find a band to play with. Also Rockband has way more DLC. GH3 on the other hand is more challenging. Faster notes/more notes, the hammer-on pull-offs are more forgiving compared to GH2. The guitar on GH3 is more fun than on RockBand.

Drums are great....once you learn the timing on the bass pedal and how to keep a rythem(sp?) it is great fun. It took me about 1 week of straight playing to be able to play on Expert, now I can beat almost every song on expert.

I have never had to send anything back to GH3, as far as Rockband goes....1st the guitar went-strummer broke in about 4hours of game play. 2nd the bass pedal snapped in half. And lastly the red pad on the drums.....I demolished it(Tom Sawyer-Expert)

Its up to you though, price is a big factor......GH3 $100 RockBand $170

From what people are saying, RB is easier. This means less gameplay and too easy to keep interest. From what I have heard about RB in this thread alone, I would pick GH3 over RB. Just because GH3 has more challenge and longer actual gameplay while still keeping a challenge. On GH3, I've been playing for about 4 weeks now and I am still playing on medium. That is because there are certain skills that I would like to pick up on before I move to hard.
