getting tints tomorrow

i've got 5% all around on my trucks with the whole windshield done in 20%, got pulled a couple times, but my trucks are registered in a different state so they couldn't give me a ticket. got 5% as well and plan on doin the windshield in 40%. but they can give you a ticket if they know other states tint laws. but whole windshield tint is illegal in any state

That is not 100% correct. I was able to have my full windshield tinted because I have a medical exemption and a valid medical reason to do so. I was going to get another medical exemption for my current vehicles until I saw all the hoops required to get one under Louisiana's new law. Fingerprints, background checks, notarized forms for both myself and the doctor to fill out, and sending $50 for a 3 year exemption just is too much of a pain in the *** for me. If my sun allergy starts acting up again, I am sure that I will be jumping through all those hoops, but, knock on wood, it hasn't been as bad lately.

The cool thing about the exemption was when the police ran my plate, it popped up that I had an exemption from the window tint law.

Well my Trailblazer has 5%on the back doors and the cargo area, and the front doors have 25%. As the state limit i was told is 19% and mine has been on there about a yr and it settled to 1%on the Back and 22%on the front. Tint does darken a bit once its been on a bit

Dark tint is a blessing on really hot summer days, no sure what percent mine is but its really dark and when i leave my car out in the blazing summer sun it keeps it really cool.
