getting tints tomorrow

well havent talked much but he can build me a box, im probally going to get an army of smaller subs first though lol.

no worries. i've realized that most people on here that post like you did know nothing about tinting. in order for him to get near a 25% reading on a light meter he would have to use a 35% film because the glass although it looks clear does have some color to it, but it's not tint. that is from the tempering process, it sorta "burns" in a color from being heated and cooled many times during manufacturing. 20% film on there would read around 15% making him illegal. 35% will bring it down to around 28% on a meter making him legal.
i've been tinting professionally for 19+ years

im going 5% all around though

no offense to anyone, but make SURE they speak english or u will have problems. i had a tint job go bad with some non speakers and WOW. all i gotta say is its like arguing with a wall.

Lucky bastards, guess what the tint law in MN is? 50% only all around, no tint on the windshield. Gayest shit i ever heard. I want tint on my car, will make it look tons nicer, but i dono if its even worth it, i dono how light 50 is gona be... Doesnt sound very worth it..

depends on where you drive, how you drive, and the cop that you pass. look at tinting like speeding....the darker you go the faster you are driving. 20% on your front doors is one shade darker than legal...58 in a 55. yeah you are speeding but most cops won't pull you over for that. 15% on your fronts is 63 in a 55. pushing it some more but you probably got on the brakes in time. 5% on fronts is now 70 in a 55. your gonna get pulled, not IF but WHEN.

lol, i got 5% all around on my black bonneville. statey pulled me over once and just said to take it off but let me go. In Michigan, any tint on side windows is considered illegal. o well, blacked out looks nice =)

Told me to come today at around 10am, I get there at 10:20 and they have cars in front of me and tell me to come back at 1...i woke up early for nothing. Its a different guy there today, and I swear he better not jack the price up for limo all around or not do it at all. The other guy said cash only since its illigal

cops in texas are not too anal about tint, they know its ****in hot here... but limo on the front 2 is pushing it. id go with 15 or 20% and limo the rest, it should be so dark in there from the back windows that it will still be hard as shit to see in. i have 20% all around and its pretty hard to see in the day or night

dude goto traders village or big t bizzar, prrob get it done for $75 and sit there and watch them do it. make sure you go over it really well when they done to ensure every little bubble is out.

traders village is right up the road, ive never been. I always wanted to go and see if I can get some cheap car audio shit thats prob. stolen. I wanna go check out the tinting but i dont have time
