well in my days of building boxes, changing setups for shows and finals, we worked all the time, had no fewer then 6 loud cars there on a daily basis. you know you gonna wanna test these boxes or possibly you have ignorant friends who will show up with their systems on full tilt. im just saying if you not into car audio then that shit get old fast. hell i like car audio but i cant stand hearing other ppl's systems, thats y i only listen loud, btw, i am one of those ignorant ppl

Nope, a total of 2 of my friends will ever show up to this garage (let alone know where it is)...one of which has a system, and he knows not to have it up in neighborhoods and especially here. And in the event someone I know does show up and makes noise, they will never be allowed back to the garage.

well then, it sounds like you have everything under control, so i wish you good times and lots of loud boxes. a favorite hobby of mine is actually finding the good boxes i made years ago and buying them back. i get them so cheap.

Thanks. It should be a grand-ol' time. Its in a nice neighborhood too and the people that ive seen thus far have been very nice and sincere. He seems like a good guy too. And im going to run a background check on him through a friends mom (just to make sure), im going to have him provide some sort of receipt for the monthly rent to prove I payed it, and im going to have a very top-notch attorney I know take a good look at it.

4 cars actually, 2 in and 2 out. and im sure you dont build boxes 4 at a time. plus he has already stated that his tablesaw is quiet. so we dont have to worry bout the inside noise, cuz there will be none.

^I'll ask that attorney if everything checks out so that it doesn't limit the noise to an obnoxiously (sp?) low level to where I can't even work..but I don't think him or the neighbors will be dicks about a little noise for a couple seconds every now and then during the day and a very rare ocurrance of noise at night.

^Thats what I mean...I mean if something happens to fall...or an accident of some kind that has some noise along with it. I will be extremely quiet at night for sure

luckily, he has a new saw and only has to worry about the noise of the router. so im guessing that you can only router during the day and use the saw at night

^Yea, the plan is to only use the router during daylight and the saw only up until the beginning of the night...after 10:30 or so I think I would rarely use anything besides maybe the sander/drill or something quiet like those
