getting louder with windows up

the guy posts on a car audio forum asking a question. i attempt to help him by answering (the only one in the thread to do so by the way) and get shit all over.

you make multiple posts doing nothing but bashing and name calling, simply saying i'm wrong and not giving any reasons why i'm wrong, even after an spl competitor posts saying he did in fact get louder after deadening.

yet i'm the jackass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

um... alright.
you aren't going to change the difference between windows up and down. thats just the way almost all cars work. about all you can do is get louder so it might be loud enough for you with them up. i said what i thought might help you out and make you sound better at the same time while lowering road noise, but apparently i'm the only one who feels that way.

i didnt notice anyone else offering any advice to OP?
how did i contradict myself? you quoted where i said it wont change the difference between windows up and down? did i someplace say that it would?
you can say it doesn't make you louder until you're blue in the face, but every single install i have ever heard before and after deadening, including 3 of my own got louder to the ear and on the mic (i'm assuming that with my explorer, haven't gotten it metered yet) and sounded cleaner doing it.
my original statement was just 2 words, sound deadener. the "intent" of this statement was to help you out, since the only other way you're going to get louder with the windows up is by adding power, more or different woofers, etc. after being told that was wrong and would not make you louder with the windows up, this was my statement.
i didnt say it would change the difference between windows up and down but it will make it louder either way, no?

am i missing something here?

i went ahead and BOLDED a few contradicting lines for you. just remember...... im on your side //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif

perhaps i was misunderstood. what you just quoted was me saying you won't change the DIFFERENCE. for arguments sake, lets assume there is a 3 db difference between windows up and down. i was saying you aren't going to close that gap, where theres a 1db difference, but you can get louder across he board, which by default makes you louder windows up.

and while that is not bashing, and not wrong, it doesnt pertain to what i was saying. i never said deadener will make your woofers move more air. i said they make them sound better, and make them sound louder, which has been the case with every deadened install i've seen before and after.

first off shut up

second you didn;t say those things when that guy replied to you.

third shut up

fourth you can go on about what you "meant" but then we can go on about what he meant. in order to be louder you need to move more air.(generally speaking) so all he was saying you won;t move anymore air by added damp and that is true.

fith, shut the hell up dude. your blowing it way out of proportion. stop with the justification posts and let it go. you;ll face face and a reputation on the forum. trust me

if i was concerned about my reputation on this forum i wouldnt speak my mind when talk turns political, because i know how these "patriots" like phantom take views such as mine.

you do not need to move more air to be louder. i can take the same box that sounds like shit in the trunk of a camry and slam down in a crx, without moving any more air. i can also put up higher decibal numbers on the dash, taken on the exact same meter after putting in sound deadener without changing anything else, as i did with my previous 2 systems.

you asked how to get louder windows up, i told you. i'm not going to deaden or meter your car, doing mine was enough of a pain in the ***. so either put in the deadener, get a little bit louder and sound a WHOLE lot better while reducing road noise and minimizing the number of people you piss off with your stereo, or invest in better subs, more power, or a new box. theres NO POSSIBLE WAY to make your stereo as loud with them up as they are down, unless you buy a different car.

has your question been answered yet? honestly, you don't seem all that interested in an answer.

im not all interested what is being argued here buddy. not in the least. please take notice that all i have done is tell you to shut up and prove you wrong as far as the contradicting goes. you said put quotes side by side and i did. and i showed you why you were bashed and why you were a jackass. and i must say you observant. im glad you could tell im not interested.

wow. just wow. perhaps you should look up the definition of the word "difference" in the dictionary, because if you could properly read english you would realize there was no contradiction.

so, if you don't mind my asking, what exactly are you planning on doing to make your system louder with the windows up?

my system IS louder with the windows up buddy. i wasn't the one asking on how to make it louder, and there was contradiction in what you keep saying. first you'll say that it is impossible to get louder depending on vehicle without changing power or box size and such. and then you say you DO get louder when YOU added damp. so shut up bud, your a moron.

can a mod please delete this thread.

i've been saying you will not make your system sound the same as it does with the windows down with them up.

if by "and such" you mean deadening, then yes, that is what i said. otherwise, you're just making shit up now.

no by such i mean exacatly what YOU said....... and i quote....

"....the only other way you're going to get louder with the windows up is by adding power, more or different woofers, etc."

but seriously dude i think your a little of your rocker tonight.

I read once somewhere actually if your riding with the passenger side window ed a lil bit you will get most bass on the driver side if u leave the driver side ed and the passenger up all the way the passenger will get more bass on there side.

uh ok.... and i quote...

note where i mention deadener, then say the only OTHER way? reading comprehension > j00
