getting dents out.. anyway u know of?

well i tried the hair dryer/compressed air trick, didnt work but i didnt have much compressed air

o well, i'll try again when i have more air

certain technicians will do certain things...it's risky doing it over certain sizes, there is only so much flex and resilience in a piece of sheet metal...a large majority of the larger dents after time begin to warp with age after being repaired...

there are size charts and standards in PDR, it's rule of thumb thay anything over a certain size is risky and many guys wont touch them, unless they are going to "pull and paint" which means pdr the dent out and then refinish it conventionally...

im a certified PDR technician (not a practicing technician, it was done for education purposes) and i received my education from PARS in Denver, CO, PARS is considered to be THE PDR experts and many of the current tools and techniques in common PDR practice today are designed and trademarked by them, or are mimicked if you will...

being an insurance adjuster during catastrophes i see thousands and thousands and thousands of vehicles done a year, and i see my fair share of bad PDR work, more than my fair share...

so no, im not kidding you...you were lucky, unless it warps...but im sure you'll be fine, your happy with it and that's all that matters...
