Getting bass in a regular cab truck?

Blah, single cab with bench seats FTL!!!!!! I'm somewhat in the same situation, looking toward the future trying to plan my next setup. I'd try single 10 or 12 in your situation, maybe look into Mmats pro casts. They like around 600 watts and i'm sure they'd get plenty loud!

in my s10 with buckets i could fit a woofer with a 6'' mounting depth in a pretty good size box with no problems look at fi's ssd line of 10'' subs. or hell even the almost flat pioneer with be "okay"

I had a 2x15" wedge box behind the seat. It sounded fair, but I gave up too much leg room. I went with a 2x8" box. What a disappointment. I just about gave up when I got a subwoofer from a home theater system with an amp attached that no longer worked. It had a 10" sub with a port that was about 7 inches deep. Good gawd, I couldn't believe the bass. Unfortunately, it was only a single voice coil, so now I'm looking for another one. With two, the bass should be tremendous.

Take a look at atomic subs and do a single 12" sealed or 10" ported in that airspace dual coil will take more then the 500 rms rating they have (the rating is for single coil) You will get lound and low. 3 year warr even if you burn up the coils. I sell Atomic, Digital Designs, RE Audio, and many other brands for the output and money Atomic is your best bet. The Manhattan 10 is less money then the DD 1500 line and DD has no warr if you burn out a coil vs the Atomics 3 year warr. The MA10d2 or MA10d4 has a SPLo of about 90db. I like DD think its more spl then sql due to they like 40-45hz the best. RE Audio well shit I have 4 RE Audio RE12d4 new in the box I am looking for 300shipped to most places for all of them. The Atomic entry is louder then the 2nd line of RE so I am cutting the inventory for RE back. With your air space you can do 3 8s and get some nice ones in there and get loud but you dont have the power so thats out.
