Alright, I have a Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V right now and have had the same system for months now. It has worked fine but I'm starting over agian. I am running a pair of CDT component speakers in the Sentra off of a PPI 4400 which i plan to put in the truck. The truck is VERY small, I'm looking into the Nissan Hardbody single cab. Now I'd love to hear some suggestions on what sub and amp combo i should go with. The price range isnt a problem, but I dont have much space and would like somewhere between 300-600W put to the sub to keep it small and keep the amp price down.

Thanks.

ascendant atlas http://www.ascendantaudio.com/archive/Atlas%2012.htm

(1 cube is good )and it would do you nicely at 300wrms . . .the amp choices are almost infinit do you have a preference?

Well, I'll look into the Atlas subs- and for the amp, I'm going to try and do some SQ set up so something with a decent xover and low THD, also any help on what a good SQ consits of will help me a lot, I might want to try and do some competing or something in the future.

Thanks for the suggestion!

the ed nine 2

http://edesignaudio.com/category.php?type=amps

looks good with that atlas which is a very good sq sub. call ascendant and ask about the subs. I dont know if they will be on backorder for the new subs. (or for how long)? I've heard they sold out of the xbl^2 atlases.

I dont know what your budget is . but for good sq you'll need to get a good comp set and or with crossovers.

A good sq sub like that atlas .

a nicely built sealed box

good amp for the subs,

and a nice 4channel amp for the comps (the nine 4 is pretty nice as well).

and a good hu.

anybody wanna add to it ? ??

For my comps- right now I have a pair of CDT HD62 component speakers that I plan on makeing a kick pannel for in the truck. The amp for them right now is a PPI 4400, which I plan on upgrading to something a bit newer and nicer looking. I was looking into a Clarion HU because they have prices that I like- you guys have any feedback on Clarions? Lastly, I dont have a problem with a LOUD sub that has good SQ. I know the Brahma and Tumult and such are all good, but does anyone have experience with Diamond Audio subs, Alumapro, Crystal, ID, PG Ti series, or even the Orion H2.

Thanks.
