Getting accustomed to your sub?

Hiya,

So i've had an mtx ts55 (the square one) 12" for about half a year now, and have loved every second of it. Recently, i feel like it's not giving the same umph. I may be going insane, because there are some songs where the sub hits relatively the same, but there are alot of times where i just remember "feeling" the sub made that just isn't there. As far as i know the connections seem fine. This could very likely be me acting like a new parent of a baby and thinking every little thing means he's dying of a sickness. So can anyone relate? or is there a possible problem? Am i just used to bumpin' now? thanks.

theres really no problem here. Its just your getting use to how loud/the sound and feeling of the system now so it now appears to "not be as loud" to you anymore.

source quality can also make a difference, I'd listen to the same song on a usb to a cd, and the cd would sound so much better/solid. but yeah, like said previously, your prob just used to your system now.

see i never really get used to mine because im never actually in while playing full tilt lol, the only time mine is played hard is at comps

see in my blazer my usb & cd are both right on par with each other. its my AUX like if i try and use my android that really lacks on power and sound.

Nope,like everybody has said you've gotten used to it ..Funny thing is it'll sound loud to all your buddies and ishh but and you'll sit there like *yawn*.Get over it and go big already

that's the name of the game. and that's where car audio becomes very expensive. I'm never satisfied anymore, the new threshold of loud that i overcome is instantly not doing it for me
