ok i searched for days and i really cant find a solid answer or even a realistic possibility..ok,, i installed in a scion xb a LOC with a sub amp and 1 12" type r. it was working just fine for a while, then one day i decided to try a more powerful amp so i pulled that one out and put in another one,,, also i might have grounded the remote wire on the amp, i seen it touching it and i might have had the key on dont rememeber...so if it had juice i might have messed something up in the HU...now it thumps for a good 1 solid second when u start the car... if the key is off and u straight start it it wont thump, but if u click the acc on and let the amp turn on and radio, then start it. it thumps. like it dosent fully turn off anymore as the starter is turning over...
i have the remote wire to the acc fuse i think, i forgot what fuse exactly but it worked fine.. the fuse was not popped either,, still works just thumps now...for like as long as u hold the key to start thats how long it bumps.....
its annoying me,, should i switch the remote wire and tap it to the radio switch or the lighter or something.. i hope i didnt damage anything.. also its not the amp i checked it and its fine.. im pretty sure its the remote from the car....
