getting a system tuned

So I'm nearing the final legs of getting my system together and would truly like to get the most out of it I can. I've sound deadened the doors and the trunk, upgraded all my wiring and am considering kick panels for my components when i put them in... I feel very confident about my installation thus far and the work I have done up to this point. Once all that is said and done, it still leaves me with a system that may or may not be tuned properly. I'll admit that when I bought the eclipse 8445, I was pretty intimidated by all the settings. I try to educate myself as much as I can on the topic but still don't know if i'd consider myself well versed in EQ settings, etc... I've read a lot of tutorials on this site and know that there's a lot of information available. I even have access to a digital oscilliscope at work but at the end of the day, I feel like all the reading and research I do isn't going to give me a good "ear" to tune my system.

I spoke with a guy at a shop by me that tunes systems for $75/hr. He said for my setup, he could do something in an hour but i'd be better off with 2 hours. Does this seem like a fair price? the guy seems to know what he's talking about and mentioned an extensive list of test/tuning equipment that he uses but what do i know.
