Getting a D in class; How to convince teacher to give a C?

D is passing in my school.

have her go talk to the prof, see if there is anything that they can do, often times talking to them can help alot.

its better if the girl who got a D talk to the professor, shows that she herself cares alot. or you can both go together but let her do the talking.

make sure that she says she put alot of effort but just had some trouble. then ask if she can maybe redo some of the homework that she didn't do too well on (if its graded) or maybe there is some she (student) can make it up by showing that she does indeed understand some of the shit you learned.

otherwise she can always drop the grade, or cancel it and just retake the course which is a ***** but it would be best for her future. i know that my school allows like 3 or 4 grades to be cancelled throughout the 4-year college period.

You got us. The median grade was B anyway. 9 people in the class. (started with 20-something)

NEVER approach a teacher/professor with another student/teacher around. In my expirence a teacher will never bend the rules or help you out with your grade if their is another student around..
