Getting a D in class; How to convince teacher to give a C?

Today was our last day of Chemistry 201. I passed with a C. However, my girl, who I've been studying along with and etc., got a D, which is not a passing grade.

Seriously, what kind of stuff would you say to the professor to convice them to raise you up one grade?

It really sucks cause me, her, and this other girl, we've been like study partners the whole semester. Me and the other girl got Cs, but the girl I'm talking about now got a D.

talk to them about what you can do to raise it, do whatever you can and whatever they say, then see if they give you any sympathy. that usually works the best for me. they generally dont like for a student to try to talk them into something. so just be honest with them, they can see right through a lie.

Grades dont change around here like Im guessing at other colleges. If someone gets a certain grade, they're stuck with it.

My professor is an old (40s) white (foreign European) woman. And it's not for me, it's for my friend.

The thing is, we all thought we were gonna fail. And it's possible that my friend could of been getting an F and the professor decided to give her a D.

And this is just her grade from my professor's "grade book". The final grade won't go in I think 'til next week.

It's just sad cause me and the other girl can't be all like "Yeah, we passed! Time to get drunk!", etc., knowing that the other girl didn't.

Yeah my teacher's "hot" :cough:. Tall, like 6'somethin", heavy Polish accent, in her 40s probably, WHITE, has an afro/mini-mullet (I'm not lyin'!), and is skinny. I'd hit it.

Definitely have her ask about extra credit- some teachers LOVE IT when you give a shit about passing their class.

I brought my grade n intro to criminal justice from a 45% at midterm to an 89% by finals this way.
