getting 2 fi q's...

alright so i'm new at all of this stuff. i've been wanting to put a pair of subs in my xterra for a while now, and i've done a little homework and have decided that i want to get a pair of fi q's. not sure if i want a pair of 12's or 15's though. Any thoughts on these? would the 15's be significantly louder? back to the point, i've read that these can handle a good bit of power over their rms rating, which is 1000w. can anybody recommend me a good amp, or a good pair of amps? i'm only 17 and like i said, i'm new at all of this. i was thinking about getting a pair of xt-2000d's from us amps. any good? it seems like they would be good for the money. i'll be probably listening to a lot of rap/hip-hop and some rock and some country too. any suggestions or help would be appreciated... thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Sundown 1500D or AQ 2200D would be fine for a pair of Q's. Just because they can handle more then RMS doesn't mean you need to do that or that they'll necessarily be louder.

Man i'd start with 12's then resell... but if you want ownage and "wowing" from the start... go 15's... but its going to hurt if done right. I'd go with the sundown or aq amp... heard great things about both... if you do this sytem right man she will be a beaut.
