Just the parts, what would that cost me?...

seems like all you need are 2 spiders, the spider adaptor, the vc, the cone and the surround (which will come attached the the cone)

should not be very much then.

I'll still trade you my 18" MT for the 4hp.......just so it will match the one i already have.....the MT is almost brand new, besides it needing a recone.

ah, you guys are killing me. I'll find out tomorrow if we can assembly it w/o the frame.

Problem is that’s still a lot of labor so that’s where the cost is. We build our speakers in America, not China, I’m sorry for the expensive labor, but that’s how we get the high quality :\

Cool. It’s a hell of a freaking sub. We're designing a linear motor version this week. Should be the cleanest and loudest thing we have ever made. Should holds a 60%less THD advantage to the current non linear 4hp. We're also improving the surround and cone and going to use a titanium former to eliminate eddy currents and resonance.

Yes, its true the 4hp stomped a hole in the MT.......but that was not a real fair scenero perhaps, its was a direct swap out of a hybrid horn enclosure, so its not like the box was normal to begin with. AND the box was 3.75 cubic foot SPL based horn, so it was a little on the shy side space wise for the MT.
