Gettin 1/0 Gauge into Distro

I bought this Distro block from Knukonceptz..

I'm having a hell of a time trying to get the 1/0 gauge in. And yes, I am using the 1/0 gauge one for the distro. Does anyone have any tips on how to get this to fit??

make sure the kompression fitting is correct

then you can trim a bit of the wire away from the outside

there imight be a fitting insiide the 0 guage terminal that reduces it to 4 or 2, remove it.

its a *****...it sucks to get it in, my friend has one for 4 awg and he stll had problems

try stuffing it in there, and turning it with a wrench

I finally got it in there. Now i'm trying to get it into my 1/0 ring terminal.. having problems with it too.

What's the best way to strip the wire??

pay very close attention to the qouted post, I'm almost willing to guarentee this is the problem if you really can't get it.

It's pretty tough to make out that there are inserts but it's the case i'm sure.

WTF wire are you using??

I had no problem getting 0ga KNU kollusus or kicker hyperflex into stinger, kicker, cheapy no name or r/f blocks

It's not hard at all. I just get one side in, then squeeze the other half onto the side that is already in, then with it squeezed with a couple fingers carefully insert into the distro/ring connector.

It is a tight fit, but it will work.

I also squeeze the hell out of the wire before inserting it to make it as compact as possible.

Just strip very carefully. You can use like a razor blade or something. Just keep the wires very neat after you strip it, then stick in right in, while squeezing the ends together a little bit.

I'm using the Kollosus 1/0 gauge wire. I think I just need to strip more carefully.. my wire keeps on turning into a "mushroom" type thing, and it won't fit at all.

Dude look at my pic above, that is 1/0 gauge Kolossus and it fits fine, you just need to squeeze it in there, no cutting off wire is required.

I see your picture, but I can't get my wire like that right now. It's all messed up and I can't get it back to it's smallest form.

OIC, well you could cut off an inch or so if you can afford it. Then just make sure you never force the wire in and mess it up.
