get my wrangler LOUD!

I have recently added sound to my 97 jeep wrangler including deck and new speakers. I now want to add a sub and amp to get the bass going. I have been seriously looking at either a single rockford fosgate 12 inch hx2 or a Solo Baric. Which one of these subs is superior (i.e loudness, clarity) and will just one 12 inch in the back of my jeep be powerfull enough to really get loud? Any suggestions on how i will fit either one of these in the very small space that i have in the back of my jeep? What amp do you suggest to power either one of these? All comments are welcomed. My brother has a wrangler, and he stuck a bazooka tube in his jeep cause he said its the only thing that fits.

u can fit more than a tube in the back...my friend has a jl 12 in wide *** box. id say kicker will be louder in smaller space. but look into edesign k series. great small space woofers.

a one kicker solobaric is the way to go. Your jeep has small volume of space, not like an SUV that needs like 3 subs to give it some kick. I think you will be happy with a single kicker solo baric. as for the amp, depending on the $$$ you have, i would get a kicker amp, will sound real good with the kicker sub. all brand stero equipment should go together if you can, try not to mix and match. if you want to mix and match look into a JBL mono, 300 600 or 1200 depending on how many watts the sub can handle.
