the alpine is very nice yes they give same output at 2phms and 4 but most alpine amps in that series can do alittle more than the stated voltage they should have 'birth sheets' that state there lab tested outputs.
if you want a nice amp that is 4 channel but rocks at 4 ohms and gives more at 2ohms

btw they are 22in long so very big / long so dont fit in some installs easy
