It's really up to you know...not much more anyone can say really.
Here is my thoughts on my purchase: I mostly listen to the Root, Common, Talib Kwali, A tribe called quest, etc. That music seems to emphasise drums and such...kick bass sounds.
In order to do this, I had to sacrifice my sub design. I chose the eD (I will prolly change to rl-is as I can afford them) because they sound decent and can easily extend to the higher frequencies. Of course this is in a sealed box. So I know my bass output won't be very high. However the goal here was a very balanced system.
As I can afford, I will swap out the eDs for a pair of rl-is, port them, and swap the profi kick for the profi phase cone. Reason being, the next sub setup will focus more on enhancing the lower frequencies. I will be needing a midbass to pickup at lower frequencies. I will lose in the kickbass region. (compared to the profi kick)
It's all about an overall system design and how each driver works together. That is why it's called a system, not a random assortment of speakers.
